B'nai Mitzvah March 2024

Jacob Ganus will become a bar mitzvah on Saturday, March 30, at 10:30 a.m. at Congregation Micah. He is the child of Laura and Eric Ganus, the brother of Aaron Ganus, and grandchild of Steve and Judy Alex of Buffalo, Grove, Ill., and Janice Ganus of Adamsville, Tenn.  

A seventh grader at Oliver Middle School, Jacob enjoys playing soccer and competing in the Williamson County soccer league. and hanging out with friends and playing video games. He also loves playing card games, building projects and kicking the ball with his brother. Hes excited that his extended family will be coming for his Bar Mitzvah and spend the weekend enjoying Nashville.

Liana Alexis Lewis will become a Bat Mitzvah on Saturday, March 23, at 11 a.m. at The Temple. Liana was born on August 24, 2007, in Murfreesboro, Tenn. Her parents are M Scott and Rebecca Lewis. Her grandparents are Doug Lewis of Brentwood, and Ed and Mary Honeyman of Murfreesboro.  

An eleventh grader at Nolensville High School, Liana enjoys cheer and spending time with friends and family. 

For Lianas mitzvah project, she is fundraising and volunteering for Lilys Garden, a fund established at Vanderbilt Childrens Hospital to fund research into finding a cure for childhood cancer.
