He is survived by his wife, Amy Drongowski; son, Mike Drongowski (Mindy); and grandchildren, Avery Markel (Jacob) and Emma Kamrass (Jared).  Donations may be made in Bill's memory to the South Lyon, Mich., Public Library or to Congregation Micah.

Condolences to the family of George Thomas Hahn. who died on June 7. He is survived by his wife, Frances Cutler Hahn; two daughters, Claudia Hahn Abbott (Jon), Elisabeth Hahn (Missy Stogner); grandchildren, Andrew Abbott (Rachel Northcutt Abbott), Kara Abbott; stepdaughter, Cynthia Moon (Bobby). He was a professor emeritus of mechanical engineering and materials science at Vanderbilt University. Donations may be made in George's memory to the Congregation Micah General Fund in support of the Children of the Shoah statue at Congregation Micah.

She was the daughter of the late Martha (Goldberg) and the late Samuel Buchbinder of New York City, and the wife of the late Milton Braderman of Wilmington, Del. Survivors include her son, Robert (Sue); daughters, Joan (late Paul Bloomgarden) and Betsy (Richard Chalal);  grandchildren, Michael, Daniel, Jessica (John Dunlop) and Jamie; and three great-grandchildren.

Beloved Sweet 16th Bakery Owner, Dan Einstein, Dies

East Nashville residents and others across Nashville are mourning loss of Dan Einstein, 61, who died on December 16. He and his wife, Ellen, have owned the Sweet 16th Bakery and coffee shop in Lockland Springs since 2004, a place that opened before East Nashville became “hip.” Over the years, it became a gathering place for the neighborhood, a local center of the community.

Longtime Nashville resident Renette Corenswet dies at age 98

Renette Israel Corenswet passed away in her sleep on August 18 at the age of 98, at Brookdale Green Hills Cumberland, where she spent the last four years of her life. The matriarch of her extended family, she was preceded in death by her husband, Abe, and her son, Robert. She is survived by her daughter and son-in-law, Ellen Corenswet and John Morgan; daughter-in-law Lucy Corenswet; brother and sister-in-law, Bill and Sally Israel; niece Sharon Israel; four grandchildren; and seven great-grandchildren
